Salary: VIAT 2, £23,723 pro-rata to £5,349

Valley Invicta Primary School at East Borough are looking to recruit an inspiring part time (term-time) EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our highly skilled team.
At East Borough we successfully balance having high expectations for all children whilst also nurturing each individual pupil in order for them to reach their full potential. Our children have a sense of wonder, are enthusiastic learners and a pleasure to teach. They want a happy, passionate Teaching Assistant to give them the best possible early learning opportunities.
The EYFS learning environment has recently had significant investment and as a result, is highly stimulating. The outside environment includes a large learning area, playground, field and Forest School. If you have the imagination, creativity and strong child centred interactions that will support learning through play, then we would love to hear from you!
We would like the candidate to:
- Have a commitment to sharing responsibility for raising standards and improving challenge within the school
- Experience of teaching phonics to small groups of children
- Be able to work effectively – independently and as part of a team
- Have good written and oral communication skills
- Show commitment, energy and enthusiasm
- Demonstrate flexibility in duties and approaches
- Be able to contribute to the creation of a stimulating learning environment
- Have a secure knowledge and understanding of early development and learning through play.
