Netball

The Year 6 netball team had a league game at home this week against St John’s C of E Primary school.

St John’s came out strongly, using the space (and their very tall defenders) well. East Borough replied with some excellent passing in centre court and some great defence in the circle. Our shooters worked hard but by half time it was 2 goals to 1 to St John’s. We had a change of positions and came back fighting in the second half, and by the end of the third quarter it was all even at 2 goals each. However, it was not to be for us this time and the final score was 4 goals to 2 to St John’s.

Well done to Yasmin, Jasmine, Ella, Rayaan, Alimah, Aliyah, Issy, Carys and Elinor for your commitment and hard work this term. Thanks once again to the parents that came along to cheer us on.
