Kwik Cricket

This week it was Year 2’s turn to take part in a sporting event. Azad, Zara, Harry, Ben, Keisi, Hana, Evelyn, Alex and Oliver got the opportunity to go to The Leeds and Broomfield Cricket Club to take part in a Kwik Cricket tournament against other local schools. It was a very exciting morning, We played 5 matches and came second, with the winning team beating us by only 1 point!

The children showed great teamwork by cheering their teammates and high fiving them after their innings. Throughout the competition the children were given stickers when they showed, teamwork, passion, determination, respect, and honesty. All our children got at least 2 or 3 stickers each.

Well done Team East Borough.
