The latest details of our learning provision during the national lockdown
During this period of national lockdown we will offer an alternative provision for learning to help minimise Covid-19 transmissions. The school is open, but we are limiting attendance on-site to children of critical workers. All other pupils will be expected to attend the school day remotely using our online learning facility with Microsoft Teams. These sessions will be 'live' and offer pupils the opportunity to interact directly with their teacher and friends.
Your child should be logged onto the 'live learning' by 8.55am so we can ensure registers are accurate.
If your child will be absent from school due to illness, or any other reason, you will need to report their absence before 9am (or prior to the remote learning session that they will miss). You may text using the absence line 01622 320063, or phone the office and leave a message. Please provide your name; your child's name, your child's class and the reason for the absence. If you are advising of an illness, you must include details relating to that illness. Please note this policy applies for all children.
To facilitate the 'live learning' we recommend that you look at posts from the teachers the night before to confirm lesson times and establish if your child needs anything to support their learning. It is advisable to have everything printed, or available, in advance of the lesson taking place.
If you require assistance, or further information, please contact us on 01622 754633.
