In Term 2 we ran a Science Club after school on Tuesdays. The children enjoyed participating in many experiments: -
Week 1 - In our first week of Science club we were tasked with the very important job of creating a parachute for some precious cargo ( an egg!). We worked in partners to create the ‘perfect parachute’. Lots of discussions took place about the size of the parachute and the type of material we should use. We then put on our lab coats to go outside and test what we had made. Only one partnership was successful…well done Oliver and Jessica!
Week 2 - This week we used a chemical reaction to launch rockets. We tested out using different amounts of water to see if this would make our rocket go higher. Again, we put our lab coats on to go outside and test it. We had lots of fun!
