Fantastic Ofsted outcome
We are delighted to share the outcome of our recent Ofsted inspection, which recognised the many strengths of East Borough and the exceptional experiences provided for our pupils.
Inspectors praised the 'remarkable consistency of highly inclusive teaching' and described pupils’ behaviour as 'exemplary'. The report highlighted the warm, caring and inclusive culture across the school, where pupils are 'polite, respectful and have overwhelmingly positive attitudes to learning.'
The inspection also celebrated our ambitious curriculum, strong phonics provision and excellent early years practice, where children are said to get off to 'a flying start'. Inspectors were particularly impressed by the school’s commitment to inclusion and support for pupils with SEND, recognising the specially resourced provision as 'an integral and well-integrated part of the school community'.
Ofsted recognised the strength of leadership across the school, noting that leaders 'lead with conviction and purpose' and maintain a relentless focus on improving outcomes for all pupils.
We are incredibly proud of this achievement, which reflects the dedication of our staff, pupils, families and wider school community. The report recognises not only the high standards achieved across the school, but also the caring ethos and strong relationships that make East Borough such a special place to learn and grow.
