Did you know that SET Tennis deliver lessons and clubs at East Borough? The children really enjoy these sessions, make good progress and we would definitely recommend the sessions to anyone who would like to give it a go!

Chinese New Year

This week the children in EYFS have been learning all about Chinese New Year! They have completed a range of different activities throughout the week which have included making their own folding paper dancing dragons, special money wallets, and lucky red lanterns to hang. The children also had the opportunity to try on some traditional Chinese clothes (Thank you Mrs Valdiny!) and sample some Chinese food whilst getting to use chopsticks! The children had a fantastic week celebrating Chinese New Year, ending the celebrations coming to school dressed in red, Chinese clothes, or horse themed clothes, as this year will be the year of the horse. Gong xi fa cai - Happy New Year to our families celebrating over the coming weeks!
